Please Allow Me to Introduce Myself
With years of photography and video production at my back, I bring extensive compositional, lighting and post-processing expertise to my real estate photography, providing clients with professional, well-crafted images that sell homes faster.
However, my photo journey began when I was 12 years old when my father, Homer Johnson, taught me to process and print B+W film in our home darkroom. By 18, I curated a gallery showing of my concert photos at the Pacific Grove Art Center and was published in BAM Magazine, a San Francisco based music magazine. For many years I was involved in the local music scene, shooting band promotional stills and providing live music images for Monterey Bay Area entertainment magazines.

While shooting stills at Monterey and San Francisco area venues, I attended SFSU and received my BA in Radio & Television. After graduation I spun records as a radio DJ and worked in a TV news studio.
I then settled into video field production, providing Director of Photography services for corporate clients in addition to shooting live music, comedy and entertainment. Here is a filmography of my work. All the while, I continued exploring still photography shooting music, landscapes, nature, travel, and street images.
In 2019 I published a coffee-table book entitled This Old Building: The Closing of Winterland, a photo exploration with stories celebrating the 40th anniversary of the closing night at Bill Graham’s famed San Francisco music venue on December 31, 1978.
All that brings me to the present where I continue my journey as a real estate photographer looking forward to helping you sell your next home.
